Matt is a digital media pioneer. In 2004, he founded BBE, the industry’s first online video company. As CEO, he led the company’s development in three operating segments: the Vindico technology platform, content production & syndication, and ad sales. Vindico’s innovative technology architecture was the first video ad serving and measurement platform and continues to be the gold standard for advertising agencies and publishers today. In 2010, BBE was successfully acquired by Specific Media.
Prior to founding BBE, Matt helped lay the foundation of today’s digital media industry as VP of Sales at The FeedRoom for four years and Director of Sales at CBS.com for two years. Previous to his work in digital media, he was a traditional media executive at Warner Bros, Petry Television, and Waring & LaRosa.
Matt earned an MBA from the University of Chicago and a BS in marketing from Indiana University.
Prior to founding Torrential, Doug was the President and CFO of BBE, the first online video advertising company, for five years, leading the company’s rapid growth and orchestrating the company’s successful sale in a complex M&A transaction.
Prior to joining BBE, Doug was a Principal in the investment banking division of Banc of America Securities for ten years. Previously, he served as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy for six years and was deployed throughout the Pacific Ocean, Indian Ocean and Persian Gulf.
Doug earned an MBA from the University of Chicago and a BS in engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
Tarun leads the strategic innovation and engineering development of our OS2 technology platform.
Prior to joining Torrential, Tarun was CTO of Selectable Media, where he oversaw technology, product and infrastructure. Previously, he was lead System Architect at BBE where he played an integral role in building the industry's first video ad server, Vindico.
Tarun earned an MS in computer science from the University of Alabama and a BS in information systems, with honors, from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.
JOHN M. DeSANTIS
John leads our Operations and Data Science Integrations / Partnerships.
JD has been building innovative start-ups & helping traditional media organizations transition to digital for over 10 years. Prior to joining Torrential in 2015, he was Director of Account Management at Conde Nast Media Group, and previously Director of Client Services for the Conde Nast Entertainment (CNE) start-up team.
As Director of the Innovid start-up crew from 2011-2014, his team was instrumental in bringing the industry's first interactive video products to market and launching Innovid’s ad tech platform.
JD began his media career with Matt, Doug, and Tarun at BBE in 2006, following 5 years on the road as a musician & tour manager. He helped scale BBE’s Traffic & Account Management departments, and trained global teams during the 2010 acquisition.
JD is an active member of the iAB and holds a BA in Communications & Media from Fordham University.

Andre joined Torrential in 2015 and leads strategic media partnerships and tech ops innovation for the company’s mobile-first, multi-screen platform.
Andre has been a digital video innovator for over a decade. Prior to joining Torrential, he was a leader on the media partnerships team for the Vindico technology platform at Specific Media, and led business development for online video pioneer BBE.
Andre earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in both Film and English from the University of Central Florida.
